Chicago is a great city for swing dancers; there is a venue for dance every night of the week!

Recurring social dances include, but are not limited to:


Fizz (at Dance Center Chicago) every Monday night  | Beginner Lesson: 8-9pm, Open Dancing: 9pm - 12am | DJ nights $10/7 for students, Live band nights $15/10 for students) | BYOB
Traffic Jam Swing on (usually) the second Saturday of every month | Beginner Lesson: 8:15-9pm, Open Dancing: 9pm - 11:30pm, Soul Hour from 11:30pm - 12:30am | $10/5 for students
Bluetopia typically the last Saturday of every month but check their facebook page for exact dates | Beginner Blues Lesson: 8-9pm, Open Dancing: 9pm - 2am |  $10/5 for students
Outcast Jazz Band hosts OJB's Big Band Dance Party at the Epiphany Center for the Arts the first Sunday of each month | 6-6:30pm beginner and 7:15-7:45pm intermediate lesson by Traffic Jam. Social dancing goes on until 9pm | $20 GA - $25 at the door | $10 Early Bird
